Dear Josslyn,
Looks like 7 am is the new wake up time for you and me, and therefore mom too.
Today was a beautiful day. Mom made us waffles. We played and watched some Disney Channel while mom got ready to go to a baby shower.
Mom dropped us off at the park with nothing but the bag and a stroller.
We walked to the trail head on Sunset but decided we weren't prepared enough for a hike like that, so back to the park we went.
We spent the next few hours swinging, climbing, and sliding at the depot park.
It was sunny and fun. When mom came back we all played for awhile then decided it was time for lunch or a nap.
We ended up at the Issaquah Farmers market at Pickering Barn. We all shared a torta and quesadilla while watching a magic show.
The magician was a young boy not yet in his teens. You loved watching him. You walked right up in front and clapped when everyone clapped and danced when the music was on.
You fell asleep in the car on the way home and caught up on the nap you had been in need of since the park.
As soon as you woke up, you and I got in our swimming suits and headed to the pool with mom.
Our first swim of the summer! Your first swim since Christmas in Salt Lake City I think, and definitely your first swim in your new swimming suit.
You were timid and held on pretty tight, but started laying on your tummy and kicking your legs. You liked watching all of the other kids playing and jumping and splashing.
Lots of fun today. You really made mom and dad tired.
Love,
Your exhausted father
